ALL OVER NOW
Our installation "SEMENT" is now over. We drove across the mountains from Oslo to Bergen to deconstruct it and bring the equiptment home.In the process we got trapped up there for five hours due to extremely icey roads. While we were waiting to be rescued, other travellers stopped their cars to see if we needed help. They consequently lost their own momentum and got stuck themselves. When we finally got rolling again with chains on the wheels of the rented van, we passed a convoy of over 20 huge lorries who were trying to make it over the mountain together. It was all pretty awsome, in the dark starry night, with the wind blowing a gale, and the exhaust pipe of the van, having come loose, going clankety clank along the ground. So a journey which usually takes 8 hours stretched out to a 14 hour epic.To avoid the snowy mountain of terror, we took the return trip along the coast, which added another 10 hours onto the journey. This time we were almost blown off the road by the heavy storms which have hit Norway the past week. Raging seas and torential rain, slippery roads and a crappy van full of our precious gear. Not nice at all!
...... Uhmmmm .... not much news except that if you can read Norwegian, you can take a look at a review of SEMENT HERE ....
..... and you can still get your mits on MAELSTROM COMPOSER, sound sets for the classic mac arcade game "Maelstrom".
Download HERE (1.8 Mb)...... and SHAPED LIKE A TACO is still available for free as mp3 HERE!
