Following a suggestion by Ulf Knudsen, the technical director at The Norwergian Theatre Academy, I contacted Thierry Ollivier to discuss the possibility of projector sponsorship by the Fredrikstad-based company Projectiondesign. They make excellent projectors and I have used them in student workshops with great results. But they are expensive. Thierry, the international sales director, suggested that we meet to discuss the requirements of my project.

The result of this meeting was a proposal that, while Projectiondesign could not fully sponsor a projector for my project, they could either sell me one at a reduced price, or alternatively loan one when required.

He also suggested that a wide angle lense would be a good addition.
I want to buy it! But I have to take a look at my budget first. Possibly a loan option would be better use of resources. However, given that I need to build the projector into the organ, a loaning solution might make presenting The Emotion Organ difficult in the future.
