January 13th and 14th, 2007

Event: Presentation of The Emotion Organ and fellowship project, Mind, the Gap. Synaesthesia and contemporary live art practice for the public and appraisal committee.
Venue: Norwegian Theatre Academy, Østfold University College, Fredrikstad.

During this event the Emotion Organ was put to the test in a public setting for the first time. On Saturday improvisations were performed by myself, and guest organist Nils Henrik Åsheim. I then gave a short presentation about how the organ works, and invited the public to try it out. Sunday opened with a presentation of my project, and an interview with the appraisal committee - Prof. Erkki Huhtamo, Prof. Lei Cox and Dr. Sher Doruff. After this the Emotion Organ was played by the public.
