RANG ODD GYTRI OF GAC-NORGE
August 2005

I called Odd Gytri of GAC-Norge (airbrush specialist) to order the system for emitting aromas.

I have actually been in contact with Odd for several months now about airbrushes and air compressors for my project. He has consequently put together a package of 8 Evolution airbrush guns

and a Euro-tech 20A air compressor

which automatically switches on and off according to air usage. He has also put together a smart sytem of valves and tubes for connecting the airbrushes to the compressor.

I finally plucked up the courage to order this system from him, and the reason for my reluctance was the price! Even though Odd gave me a generous reduction in price including constructing the tubes and valves as an added bonus, the cost greatly exceeded my original budget. This probably means that I will have to trim down my project in some other area to cover the extra cost.

The reason why I eventually opted for this solution was that, having tested a cheap airbrush with compressed air in a can, I found that the air ran out pretty quickly and that the airbrush gun, made of metal and plastic with a glass fluid container, leaked. Also, it was not possible to adjust the amount of "smell" flow.

Odd's advise was to use airbrushes that were made solely of steel (and not leak) and where the flow could be adjusted to meet different conditions and fluids. One of my concerns was that the air compressor would be too noisey, but I took the chance anyway. Why? I liked his voice!
