AMANDA STEGGELL
Born in 1965, Yokohama.
Residing in Norway since 1985.

EDUCATION
Studied dance at London College of Dance and Drama in 1982-85, and choreography at the National Ballet Academy, Oslo, from 1991-94.

WORK
Co-director of the artist group Motherboard since 1995. Choreographed several full length works for the stage and screen(s). Worked as guest teacher at several institutions of visual and performing arts and has received a series of artist grants for investigation into performance technologies. Occasional VJ, webmistress and video maker. Currently holds a 3 year arts research position [Programme for Research Fellowships in the Arts] at The Norwegian Theatre Academy, Østfold University College, Fredrikstad, Norway.
